Ive seen numerous times on mu that this is a concept album. Apart from a few songs (across the sea, pink triangle, butterfly), I dont really see how this is considered a concept album. Could someone explain it track for track?

it's not a fucking concept album. just because some autists want to connect imaginary dots does not mean there's a picture
It doesn't have a plot, but the themes of the lyrics are so focused on describing one person's feelings and thoughts that it's like a concept.

I agree with this.
I would call it a concept album, just not one with a plot, but a theme
Blue > Pinkerton
It is based loosely on the opera Madama Butterfly, which is about some American officer who gets a Japanese girl pregnant then leaves her behind for a wife in America. Rivers took this and infused it with his teenage angst and rise to fame (along with his preference for Japanese girls). It's a pretty loose concept album, but it has a general idea or theme throughout it, as opposed to just a bunch or random songs.

Every album is a concept album if you try hard enough

damn...
It's a concept album in that there is a very prevalent theme that runs through the album of trash music.
If you listen closely to the mixing, lyrics, vocals and instrumentation, the theme will become very noticeable.
