A Swedish band called Kent, mostly pop/rock but they change a lot every album, this one is one of my favourites, but maybe you have to know Swedish to appreciate it fully. Almost every track on this one is a masterpiece imo.

Mt. Eeerie is a much more balanced album, it consists of all great songs.
Honestly, I've never heard a 10/10. I've never found anything worth of being rated a 10. Max. 9,5... There's always some noticeable slips and misses in every record, big enough to say "I REALLY don't like X part of Y song."

That's what I thought at the beginning as well, but after a few listens it became a clear 10/10 for me. Songs like I Felt My Size, I Am Bored, The Gleam Pt. 2 that I thought were filler became great tracks.

You're right man. Two different artists can come to an equal amount of craft quality on two different albums - you then really need to base yourself on your personal taste: "Do I like album 1 or 2 more? Rock is my favorite genre and 1 is a rock album while 2 isn't, so I'll pick one".
But I like to think of the "favorite" and "thinking what the best is" separately. Your favorite album is the one you have more memories and feelings attached to, it doesn't need to be the best album you've ever heard. You can be more loving towards the shitty car you had many adventures with than with a Bentley.

I agree that it's one of his best, if not the best, but I disagree that it's his only good album.
For Lack of a Better Name and Vexillology were trash, Get Scraped was okay, 4x4=12 was meh, Random Album Title was a great collection of prog house tracks, and >album title goes here< as well as while(1<2) are good combinations of prog house and somewhat-experimental ambient tracks.
There is literally nothing wrong with RAT. It has a very good flow without any actually bad tracks.

I went to a record store near Detroit, the owner was good friends with Dilla and his family. Best record shop I've been to, had a room filled with $5 or less records and almost none of them were awful. Lovely man, lovely store, lovely album. 10/10 would rate again
