I can't find a term for this phenomenon anywhere. A specific type of music that is designed to play with your brain, to affect you in some way.
It used to be the central premise of goa trance but that is completely gone now. 99% of that music is basically the same.
The artists best at this effect are Infected Mushroom and Massive Attack (for me). (examples: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtWjLaBtMFQ&t=2m32s and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zH9HA9AI_RI). Some of their tracks literally make me lose control of my body, send me into a trance, my eyes spin out of control and my body contorts, my entire spine tingles and rattles and I can feel my neck contort and glow.
I wonder if anyone has similar sensations, and if you do, to what music?

Binaural beats also have this effect of shifting movement that acts as an auditory illusion inducing trance. Probably used in a dance context by somebody out there

Your best bet is psy trance and, in my experience, house of all kinds. Both of those genres are extremely large though so good luck finding stuff that makes you feel this way. My recommendation is to, if you live in the states, take a pilgrimage to Movement in Detroit next year and discover new music in that environment. Guy Gerber might be someone you should look into.
But if that's not feasible I'd say just dig into what I mentioned above, and if you're really looking just for sonic immersion I'd say look at harsh noise and GY!BE.
It's clearly a subjective phenomenon, because that Infected Mushroom song you posted sounds kinda trashy to me.
