if and only if you play it back at 120% speed. Realized quickly these are okay mm songs, but they just sound slowed down to me. A lot of the pacing issues can be solved by speeding the album up to the normal mm tempo ranges.

That song is literally an interlude and it sounds like a parody of old MM. Pups to Dust and Best Room on the other hand sound like old MM for the right reason, they're pretty jammy.
Anyways the album isn't bad. There's no real style or direction, most of the songs are just mediocre, but I think there's enough good or great songs to push it into 6-7/10 range. Everything else they've released is better.

I agree there are a few decent songs on the album but the production ruins them. It's all too edgeless and bland compared to pre Good News era.
