Math-rock is a blanket term just like other kinds of genres. It can cross over with other genres, like post-rock, midwest emo, noise rock, neo-psych, indie rock, jazz fusion, etc.
I dont think youve explored too far into the genre if you can only name two math-rock bands and think that Don Caballero isnt math-rock.
