It isn't?
>>65772137
it's not black metal though
>>65772072
i would say pic related is a little more accessible
this is up there
The mantle
it isn't the most accessible black metal album at all, it's noisy and ugly as fuck even for black metal production standards, and has an enormous 25-minute long ambient section in the middle. mayhem would be a better introduction.
>>65772072
Because it's not a completely shitty album like most black """metal""" albums
its one of the few good ones
>>65772221
Silly anon, he asked about the most accessible black metal album, not the best black metal album.
>>65772283
nice p4k pleb tier opinion, please never comment on black metal again
>>65772357
you dont know anything about black metal kiddo
>>65772319
oops ;^)
>>65772371
says the atmoshit fan, pic related is you
>>65772072
As a seasoned black metal fan, and black metal musician, I can tell you that >>65772166 is much more accessible.
>>65772430
>implying there's anything wrong with atmospheric black metal
Don't get me wrong. I'm not the guy you're replying to, and I fucking love raw, evil, trve kvlt shit but atmospheric black metal is great too, and while it may be trendy now among hipsters, it's not new. Burzum and Ulver have been doing it since the beginning.
I suspect it's an act of spite. People are generally uncomfortable with the fact that a killer/white nationalist is among the most consistent and listenable black metal musicians out there.
I'm looking for a norwegian (I think) black metal album that was released within the past 5 years, the album art is the corner of a building (I think) and it's sepia or achromatic in some way. 5 or 6 tracks long. Thanks

>>65772418
What's the name of that album, excuse my plebiness
>>65772855
emperor - in the nightside eclipse
>>65772855
dude it says the name on the fucking cover, and it's not even in that hard-to-read black metal style.
Most accessible, you say?
Darkthrone and Mayhem were the bands that got me most into black metal at first, although admittedly I'm still not very "into" it
just realized that my black metal listening background is based off of youtube, which is based off of listening trends of people that listen to black metal on youtube, which means,
I've been brainwashed by the corporate media again.
Fuck you all for ruining, what I thought was my true escape from hipster-ism, I'm going back to 2pac.
>>65773095
Why would corporations want you to listen to black metal?
How the fuck has this one not been posted? This is definitely the most accessible BM album.
>>65772166
I much prefer Live in Leipzig desu
Mostly because Agalloch isn't pure Black Metal. Symphonic stuff like Dimmu and to a lesser of extent emperor are also contenders
