honestly i wouldnt mind it if the sounds actually mixed well but they very very very rarely do. it's always some cheesy sample that's meant to make the track more intense, bigger and larger, but it turns out to be the auditory equivalent of a shape sorter toy
theyre two different things. for me rapping is way easier and depends more on image, style, and possibly your backstory (jamal from the hood made it out, hipster cool kid le ironic rapping, etc.).
producing is actually way harder and requires actual technical knowledge as well as musical knowledge and keeping up with trends and whats cool whats not and what direction to go. if you think youll stand out just making a bunch of trap beats, good luck, everyone and their mom already has that down.
