there's some really interesting things going on in the beats and the atmosphere you've created for yourself has a unique spirit that carries it's own weight despite also being part of the cloud-rap genre.
The vocals in Is It? It Was wasn't the most attention grabbing, and maybe your approach is much more centered on the sonic delivery anyways. Either way, hearing it in the context of the album will be interesting and I'm looking forward to it. Wish you the best of luck in it's completion and release.

that's neat to know. i don't see any upcoming shows on your page, are you planning on performing this summer? that would definitely help get you closer to that goal

i've listened to your album before (the day of it's release actually) and enjoyed it. A lot of energy and the production wasn't too bad. Did your art justice. What exactly do you feel could use improvement? Really, only the artist's opinion matters the most when it doesn't concern a technical issue.

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
The four of us have loose opinions on what could be improved. The album was rushed, most of the songs are pretty old and juvenile sounding, yet we all pretty much agree that we enjoy the album and that there are plenty of good moments on it. Since we're not going to make another album with the Eye Contact lineup it's hard for us to think about what we could have improved on with future releases.
Having said that, the four of us are still making music with each other and independently with our solo projects and I think we'd all agree that what we're doing currently is better than Eye Contact.
All four of us are part of this bigger 6 piece band that has an album on the way, Cody and I will be on the next two Larksburg releases, Nik makes music under the names Twinkle Park and Honey Rocket, Dylan and Cody have their own solo projects that haven't released anything yet.

Heh I've been considering playing live but it requires hardware I can't afford. Can't just stroll in with a keyboard like I could with other projects. Thanks for the advice though.

good man, follow wherever your creativity leads you. Especially because that music will always be there and the chance to perform will also. I just think it's cool that you're going to stay involved with music at all. You might even come with up new songs along the way.

Aside from playing the bass on this I also had a large role in the production of this project - the engineering and mixing. I had never really handled that side of things before so I'd appreciate any feedback, tips, critiques, etc. you all might have. Thanks!
