A few months ago, I'd just spent a few days inside for a couple of reasons: I had some work to do and had been slightly depressed and lazy.
So I got dressed up in my stupid weird clothes, looking a bit stupid but that's what I like to do so I think that's fine. As soon as I turn the second corner from my street I see a guy about 6'2" with a ginger beard, a bit of a hipster on first look, but wearing a shirt with the 2012 album METZ, by METZ. I go "hey! cool shirt!" in a way that said "I haven't spoken to anyone in days! I'm a creepy weirdo!"
He raised a headphone off one ear and gave me a look that asked "why is this creepy, stupid, embarrassment of a kid talking to me and what the fuck is he saying"
I repeated "...that... ...that was a good album... ...good al...bum..."
He then politely went "oh... ok..." and walked on.
