hello /mu/. I am thinking of doing some travelling around mainland europe, and i thought of a potentially fun activity whereby i hunt musical landmarks.
specifically places that are featured on album covers, but anything that holds some kind of musical significance is good
anyone have any examples of this? doesn't have to just be euro either, post anything interesting

Is it me or does /mu/ hate on another age group every day
If you leave mainland and end up in my neck of the woods (London) there are loads: Abbey Road, Heddon Street (Ziggy cover), Battersea Power Station (Animals), Camden Market (The Clash), then obviously loads and loads of musicians houses/former houses.
I know that the Lonerism cover is Luxembourg Garden in Paris, and Jim Morrison's grave is in Paris, but other than that I'm struggling to think of any in mainland!
You could probably find this house.
Band is from my home town of Birmingham England, the cover was definetely taken in Birmingham, from the style of the building I'd say either Perry Barr or Moseley.
Can't find anything online about the actual cover art location, which Is unfortunate. I'd like to go there.

If this is a thing that's going to occupy your time in Europe don't bother even going OP.
