Love these guys. The Ambiguity - I recently downloaded quite a few of your releases in an earlier thread and fell in love with it instantly.
Unlove - This really reminds me of early gothic atmospheric pop as well as a bit of Sparklehorse. Really love it, it's sombre and atmospheric. Very sweet on the ears.
Epiglottis - I can't wait for your next release, congrats on getting on Spotify too! Been meaning to do that myself for a while.
DearLaika - your music is very sweet and I love the artists that you've been compared to. I do really enjoy your work and if I had some cash now, I'd buy your EP. El Vacio Del Gaucho (2015) was composed over several months and, while recorded 'live' (simultaneously) it has overdubs and some studio trickery.
Our jam albums Zapadas vol 1 and 2 are selections of completely raw recordings and 100% improvised music made just for fun but are pretty nice albums in themselves. Then there's the debut self titled album from 2012.

"The People Want to Know Why/Rain Serenade" is pretty cool. The beginning minute is quite a journey. Both the drone and the drumming were unexpected for me. I think you could back off on the rolling note snare, but it does provide a nice contrast for the part that comes after it. The drone and the clicking samples work very well together. Also, don't be afraid to cut a million takes to make sure everything lines up together. The singer/rhythm guitarist/engineer for my band expects nothing less than perfect and, in retrospect, I really appreciate the effort it takes to get the perfect take now.

One thing I do to work on my flow is to (shittily) beatbox or drum it out with my hands, knees, and feet.

This sounds really good! Immediately, I question panning the vocals left, I'm so used to a centered vocal track. The groove and feel of the track is great, though. If you can, get a drier cut of your toms and turn them up a bit and the same with the snare but turn it up a bit higher. The synthesizer is fits right where it should. This is really, really awesome musically.

Thanks for the kind words, anon. I love In Muted Colors, especially Snow on North Linn. It has that sombre sweet and innocent sound I love about ambient music, reminds me a little like Solar Fields with that Biosphere cold/winter feel to it.
Also I'll try out the method of drumming things on my hands/knees/feet too, I should do that more often as I'll have a beat/rhythm in my head but I tend to try recreating it from memory rather than play it out to myself. Thanks again, man.

Thanks for the extensive feedback! We panned the vocals left and the lead guitar right give balance to the verses without having to turn anything down. If you notice there are subtle low tones plus echo that carries into the right ear, which gives the vocals more body. The panned vocals also gives contrast to the chorus which has stereo double track on the vocals.

Thanks for the feedback! Although im not too sure what you mean by lacking progression or momentum. This track was originally a B side to our single which featured another more up-beat track from the LP. Unfortunately as I mentioned in my original post, there have been some issues with production which forced us to put that track on hold for now. However we will be releasing a separate single in the near future with that missing track and most likely another B side.
