this album is so frustrating. the first 3 minutes is one of the greatest things ever recorded and then... nothing. the rest of the album is garbage

Yep, the album starts off with fucking delightful bass orgy. Few minutes of greatness and then faggy Anderson's voice kicks in and I can't help turning it off. Never made it past that moment.

I really, really hope you guys are trolling, because I feel the exact opposite. The first few minutes of the first song are some of the most grating, awful, unbearable music I've ever heard in my life. But if you make it through that shit, this turns into possibly the greatest album of the prog era.
The entire album is good. The only qualms I have with it are:
That really long organ part in Close To The Edge.
The synth in the beginning of And You And I sounds too silly.
That's about it.
