I don't see much punk/hardcore etc. here very often, post some fav albums of yours.
>Post punk's fine too, just try not to stray to far into proto-goth/synthpop etc. too much
>Post hardcore's fine too, (ATDI, Fall of troy(?) stuff though.) Keep that emocore shit out though.
I'll start off with one of my favourites I don't see posted that often.

My favourite misfits album. I recently listened to evilive and I was amazed by how raw it is, all hell breaks loose is amazing on that album.
I'll be in and out of this thread while I'm working today.
I'm pretty hyped on this band right now. Awesome crossover in the vein of leeway. One of the best new hardcore bands out there at the moment.

Listening to this right now. I love how crossover has been making a comeback these past few years. New power trip and mizery out soon as well.

Good technical bass playing and drumming. Got me into listening all the way through albums when I first discovered it.
>>6570445I know man :(, also i've watched that live performance before I think, one of the best ones isn't it?
>>65704403
Its OP here again, I'll start checking out some of these posted albums out now, starting with this one.
Also I'm 200% pleeb because I didn't expect all the crust, grindcore etc.
I'm liking what I hear so far though so thanks /mu/, no matter how cancerous some threads are, I must say it's a specialty of this board to find obscure, interesting bands, honestly I was just expecting classic 80s era hardcore, but i'm liking this.

great album

>/mu/'s clinical obsession with adding nippon to what is otherwise music perfectly fine on it's own exhibit A
Still a 7/10 IMO pretty good song + kekkeroni pizza delivery at the end.
To be honest, I always preferred Samhain to the Misfits.
November-Coming-Fire is a huge album.
GOAT band or overrated?
>>65705067
I respectfully disagree on this one, but I see where you're coming from, samhain, danzig etc. are all god-tier anyways
MUUUUTHUUUUROFMEEERCEEEEE
>>65705083
Slightly overrated
SLIGHTLY, relative to other punk acts but really, most people still generally don't know who they are as opposed to your average jb, zayn shit etc. Now THAT is what you call overrated I think.
>>65705083
over-(the heck)-rated
>>65705360
Better ramones are overrated than boybands and the like.
Crust essentials
doom
disorder
sore thorat
concrete sox
extreme noise terror

>>65704172
have you guys heard about green day and guns n roses they are very good punk
>>65705594
Just my opinion, I know there's better punk bands out there than the ramones, and I know those bands deserve more spotlight than they get, but I don't have to hate them because of that do I? Try to keep it civil in the thread btw.
>Civil /mu/ thread
>Not automatically hating all music deemed to be overrated.
OP here, thread's probably dead now but more favs incoming.
Not the most obscure, /mu/ like albums I'm aware, but hopefully this starts the thread up again.

>>65705746
Yeah, no. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It was just that the way you frased that was weird; which caused me to not get what you where trying to say. I was kinda shitposting anyway, though. I never really got the Ramones, but I still appreciate their infuence, and how revolutionary they were.
>>65705612
Yes i like korn too ever heard of them
What's the last punk show you guys went to?
I saw Turnstile in late April with basement which was awesome. Might be seeing Blind Justice with some locals this weekend.
>>65707050
uhh i dont know but thank you if they are simmukalr to greenday or oasis i think i will like them :)
>>65705083
GOAT. To truly enjoy The Ramones you have to understand why The Shaggs are amazing first.
Daily reminder that beatdown is good for your soul.
