I'm really suprised this album isn't being discussed more. The production is amazing, ingrained in old west coast G-funk but it still feels so fresh. Definitely contender for best rap album of the year, I don't see much competing with this.

I liked My Krazy Life but it wasn't anything too special and somewhat stayed in the shade of the other releases that year, so I doubted he'll come through with anything better. But man did he deliver, this is some of the best production of the year and the sound is so reminiscent of 90s g funk with a contemporary vibe. What are your favorite songs on this, I really liked Twist My Fingaz, Police get away with murder, Gimme got shot. Just all around a really solid project that will be in massive rotation throughout the summer 8.5/10 because the lyrics aren't anything special and cringy at some points (FDT)
