i love this board
they are really cool, talented musicians and they have some interesting musical ideas, nice mathematical use of polyrhythms and unusual time signatures, I also like the ideas they portray in their music, social criticism and such.

I found them just absurdly, painfully boring when I was a teenager. Now I like some of their stuff, but they still don't do much for me. For the themes and feelings they tackle, I feel like Nine Inch Nails is far superior, and for the alt-prog thing, I strongly prefer Porcupine Tree.
