the Bridge Livers were founded in California in 1986 by Golden Yender, a 21 year old high school dropout who had surprisingly good grades and worked at a computer store, and Irene Shapiro, a 25 year old Delta Air Lines flight attendant turned massage therapist after an incident where she nearly beat a pilot to death while in flight.
the Bridge Livers were one of the first ''prog punk'' bands to exist. the band released a collection of seven albums and ep's from 1987 to 1998, when a freak gas pumping accident killed two of the band's members, Yender and an unknown homeless man in his mid forties who had worked as the drummer of the band from 1995 until his death.

Another member, Gary Laughlin was severely injured but has become well known in his own right for being the world's longest living man to have locked in syndrome, and is luckily still alive today!

St. Vincent & The Grenadines were an English Merseybeat combo, formed in Ipswitch-upon-Thesselwick in 1959.

Though they had several minor hits in their native Britain, they never managed to break through the American charts. They disbanded, unceremoniously, in 1966 amidst the rise of hard rock and psychedelia.

(1/2) Savior Machine are a Japanese rock band formed in 1976 in Tokyo by four high school students and one college student. Inspired by American and British hard rock, gam rock, and protopunk groups from the early-1970s (a fact they were often criticized for in the beginning), the band's daring sound and live energy heralded the rise of Japanese pop rock in the 1980s and 90s once they broke into the mainstream in the summer of 1980. Considered a lightning rod of controversy and slander almost from the start, the group’s idiosyncratic attitude and sociopolitical outspokenness both enthralled and shocked the Japanese public. By the release of their third album in 1981, Savior Machine had reached superstar status; the LP was the bestselling Japanese album of 1981, and three of its four singles topped the charts for a record-breaking consecutive total. They embarked on a sold-out national tour, at which point a Beatlemania-like fanbase had been amassed.

(2/2) In 1982, the group brought on Haruomi Hosono to produce their next project, 'Naked', and a radical departure from their previous sound - embracing art rock, electronica, ambient, and synthpop - resulted, though a confused popular reception didn't stop more commercial success. In 1984, they dropped the concept album 'Daitoshi', which aimed to combine conscious lyrical content with catchy pop songwriting. Among it's most famous and enduring tracks were "Video Drone", which seemed to warn of the explosion of waifu culture, and "The Perfect Girl", which lampooned Japanese idols and inspired the album's most controversial marketing campaign (massive posters of a cute girl on a leash being controlled by a grotesque businessman were put up overnight at several major train stations across Tokyo and were headline news). It proved to be the band's most acclaimed and classic release. From 1989 to 1996, they produced three art rock/experimental rock albums before going on hiatus, returning in 2002 and carrying a steady performance schedule with occasional recordings since. Today they're one of the most famous and influential Japanese rock bands of the past 40 years.

"Alien Youth Group"

Genre: garage punk, indie rock, psychedelic, grunge

Alien Youth Group (AYG) IS comprised of childhood friends: Cyle Holt, Jayce Thomas, Adam (E.T.) Harrison, and Jonathan Ritchey. The four met at First Baptist Church in Grenada Mississippi in 1997. The band officially formed in 1999 while Cyle and Jonathan were studying at Ole Miss university. Jayce joined their band shortly after their former bassist, Charlie Mills, died in 2002, and E.T joined the band later on that year when their then drummer, Todd Middleton left the band for religious reasons. They didn't really start gaining traction until 2008 when their song "Holyroller Super Show" went viral. They were quickly snapped up by Sony Music Entertainment, and began touring around the deep south.

In 2012 Cyle announced that they would be releasing one last album, but the band broke up due to internal dispute before recording could begin.

Jayce and E.T. went on to start Yellowyellow.

In 2014 Jonathan tragically overdosed on mdma and the band got together for one more memorial show before the band officially split up with no plans of getting back together.
