It has always bugged me that Shitfork tends to change their reviews to go on with the stream and to keep being "trendy" and "important".
Why do people still follow their opinions, again?
Let's not bring back the Andrew W.K. case again...

>Why do people still follow their opinions, again?
they don't, everyone hates p4k
why do we do this again its like were doing things again it makes no sense again its like why again we shouldnt do things just to again
it's almost like they're more than one person and employees and contributors come and go or something
you're right OP, opinions can never change over the span of 20 years
fantasma is a gr8 album tho

people shit on christgau or scruffi for their idiosyncratic taste wrt some records, but at least they don't issue revisions when the culture takes different turns.
>>65639779
thats fine, but they're only re-reviewing albums they were initially low on. they just use re-releases to bolster their consensus w/ readers that they appreciate the 'good' records.
>>65639889
Yea I dunno, there's plenty of rather redundant reissue reviews. M83's Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts got a 9.2 both times for example.
>>65639983
Not only that, but even Before the Dawn Heals Us has the same exact score from both reviews.
>>65639983
i'd be interested to read any lowered reviews.

Daily reminder that P4K is a joke.
