yes, I've tried blowing into it.

I've been fucking with it for last 45 minutes or so and have gotten some sound out of it a few times.

I'm just curious if I'm even doing it correctly.

I have been blowing into the first hole on the side of the flute and can get some sound out of it, but then why is there a groove cut into the bottom of it?
