What is the most beautiful piece of music you have ever heard?
>>65501881
This is musically and sound-wise very crude and brutal, but I can't remember any other song that would've fucked up my feelings as much as this has. The vocalist sounds unusual at first, but when you listen to it a little bit further you see he has so much passion in his singing it really makes this absolutely beautiful. I feel emotionally stripped, like there's nothing left

Brilliant choice, anon
Hisaishi's soundtracks for ghibli were the first pieces that got me into music, actually. I don't listen to much classical now, but those soundtracks are magical and vivid even without visual context.

So beautiful for how simple it is. Just two beats, out of phase with each other, slowly shifting the beat, and the phase. It definitely feels like it has sections but the transition between two sections is so subtle. It feels the musical equivalent of letting your mind wander.
