>he likes music of the past
>he thinks it'd cool to live in the past
I think it would be cool to live in 93 desu. All the gear I want would bb cheap as chips.

>what is inflation

>no internet
therefore
>no illimitate music
>no illimitate porn, games, movies
>no cell phones

Even if it the inflation was double $300 in 93 for something like a 303 is way less than $3000 now.

i'd love to live in 1999-2002. i always been fascinated about that period
>>65489199
So we're only allowed to listen to music released literally today? Because all other music is from """""""the past""""""
>>65489276
>no Internet
So we've done away with chief of our presently stricken ailments.
>>65489199
yeah it'd be cool to live in certain musically significant periods
but it's cooler to have the internet and access to the entirety of modern music, as well as all of the history and whatnot that we can access
It would be cool to live in the past with a mind from the future otherwise you wouldn't like it
>>65489199
I wouldn't want to live in a time with no internet, but I still only listen to music that was either made in or inspired by the period between the mid 60s and mid 80s.
Modern music doesn't mean anything to me. Music without the electric guitar is not music.

I grew up then (born '86). I hated most of it, especially the nu metal and the baggy pants, but I liked that watching MTV and Viva was a legitimate lifestyle choice back then. Used to watch music videos for hours on end back in those days. Who does that anymore?

Maybe the marilyn Manson and tool videos, celebrity deathmatch and beavis and butthead. That's all I actually remember from that time and gorillaz and catdog.
