bro, comparatively to deathcore its just stumped. its the epitome of complexity closely followed by classical. i mean, you have three frets. and you have to press those frets really fast. and you cant expect artists to learn how to properly execute exhaling for vocals, inhaling is easier but it adds to the complexity in the end bro because like you cant really hear it but the lyrics are deep[ and meaningful and the vocals need to like emphasize the lyrics. then the most complex part, the breakdown. i mean when do you know when to plug one in? sure every deathcore band ive ever heard had no rhyme or reason for breakdowns and just shoved them in randomly to surprise the listener like some cheap jumpscare for an artificial sense of brutality but doing it right is complex. speaking of lyrics it takes them an entire afternoon to think up the lyrics.

OP, either start reading proper literature and listen to new genres for the lyrical content, or educate yourself in musical theory and interpret new genres for their theoretical value.
Uniqueness is what I seek in music, and what everyone should as well. Deathcore is reliant on generic themes and rarely steps away from these to produce something really notable.
Read Cohen's poetry and listen to his music.
Get lost in studio/live comparisons of classical/jazz/chamber music (a stimulating album is Efterklang's 'Parades' as they have a live album for that one that is God-tier).
Listen to music with uncommon instrumentation. Joanna Newsom writes great music for harp, for instance.
Of course, these are just examples. Music is fucking wonderful in its infinite variations, and you should seek to understand all of its many forms, nuances, and colours. I hope you take what I've said to heart, and don't give up on something new without a proper evaluation!
