Busdriver if he counts. His newer stuff is definitely full of exaggeratedly complaining about being black, which is a hallmark of "consciousness", but it's not what I like him for.
I like the way he plays with the expectation of his audience for him to be "smart" by making a ridiculous club song and then just launching into one of his impenetrable political monologues at the request of a fictional critic.
