I was 15 years old on vacation in San Diego in 2008 and heard Dashboard on the radio. It was catchy as fuck and the vocals were addicting. A few weeks later I started digging through their music every night on my phone before I went to bed. I even chose LCW as my favorite before I knew that was the cool thing to do.
