Now that the dust has settled, can we agree this was the biggest blunder of the year so far?
its their best material in more than 10 years desu
Yeah, I agree, liking also the conceptualism inherent in allowing us to create our own album, as opposed to compilation or mixtape, as a commentary, trend-setting.
music's not bad, but it's too much.

it's actually one of the best autechre albums in ages, probably the best since confield (i loved oversteps too)
Incunabula will always be there for you to listen to OP. In the meantime, I'm gonna be bumping the shit out of this
haven't listened yet
did they break any new ground on this release or is it just the same old same old
i never understood music that goes beep boop beep boop
Frankly I hold the opposite opinion. Some of the best Autechre in years, overall. A few tracks fall flat but on the whole it is very strong. I'd probably rate it 7/10.

Some of it's very similar to their recent live shows, and a couple of tracks seem to be rebuilt versions of tracks from Exai (for example, spaces how V uses sounds from tuinorizn and runrepik but it's very different from either of those), but a good amount of it also sounds like something new for them.
If you already heard feed1 and c16 deep tread, I don't think they're representative of the rest of elseq.
Best album since Have One On Me.
