honestly, caravan palace's debut is still dank. maybe i wouldn't like it as much if i wasn't 15 when it came out, but it's just nice music tbqh. actually i think a lot of the lazy stock defenses people use when SILY gets shat on apply in equal measure to that album. admittedly i have never heard another electro-swing artist nor do i have any interest in seeking em out, but the vitriol it gets solely because of reddit and fedoras is p funny
