If Nu-Metal wasn't ever created and this album released recently, would it be considered /mu/core?

Instantly.
it already is but yes
this too

According to scaruffi it's better than pet sounds

Chocolate Starfish wouldn't be but Three Dollar Bill might be.
This for sure would be.
It's like I can smell extra-hold hair gel in the air whenever I listen to this album.

Wow, that is a crappy album cover
A lot of Nu-metal debuts and some other general Nu-metal releases would definitely be /mu/core. System of a Down's first release, maybe LD 50 by MudVayne, etc.

this album is not nu-metal it just an amazing album
too bad korn didnt all die after making this album; then we would remember them better
>>65375639
It kind of is I think imo honestly.
>>65375852
It would be their Magnus Opus if they stopped there, or went back to that stuff they did on the EP lel

I like Mudvayne. Their debut and last album are pretty good. The stuff in the middle is fun but I'll admit is pretty shitty
>>65376540
They give me so many mixed feelings. They have so many great songs like Internal Primates Forever and some songs on their newest but god damn, they have a lot of bad and overly cheesy material. They are fun though
>>65375552
wish wem could turn back time to the good dope days so I could kill all korn members right after the release
I actually like Korns sound unlike most of the other nu-metal bands at the time.
