Wow, this is really sad. I'm not hugely familiar with Phil's catalog, but the Glow pt 2 got me through many-a classes in high school. I liked it a lot, became a classic staple in my music lineup. Phil is actually a ridiculously huge influence on my day-to-day life, however embarrassing and weird that sounds.
Despite working a super low-paying retail job, I'm still gonna donate to this family. Phil seems so down to earth, 100% so. The reason this really hits me, a fan, is because Phil is so genuine. There are too many people making too much money from the current situation. No politician wants do do anything that would kill any jobs. No politician wants to raise taxes. It basically comes down to money vs morality/compassion. In the United States, money wins that battle every time.
