Would he like vaporwave?
What would he think of vaporwave?

some of the more interesting vaporwave derivatives he might like, overall he'd probably think it's lazy
he didn't even like aphex twin because it was lazy and repetitive, I really doubt he'd like vaporwave
Stockhausen was a fan of all new music, which is why he stole La Monte Young and Feldman's relative styles when they were more "new" than him.
So he'd appreciate some part of its aesthetics.
Dude was pretty open to all music really. Originally an education major.

Meh, he appreciated the sonic ideas of him but yeah just didn't like the repetition (even though he was played Aphex's most controversial track)
Also apparently they made up
It's not really about the genre but the actual music. Vaporwave could just be considered electronic for all he'd care
Probably wouldn't like it, it's just simple meme music. The guy spent his whole life creating deeply fucked up art music, writing and philosophizing about it and was surrounded by equally fucked up people and their music as well. He expects true, deep (ie not just cosmetic) originality, not slowed-down pop music.
