they do have some decent pedals for sure. i like the dd-20, rv-5 and cs-1.
just try branching out a bit if/when you get more gear ha. ehx, mxr, strymon, earthquaker, catalinbread and red witch have a lot of awesome pedals.

> Projekto Sendecida - Santa Fe, Argentina
> psychedelic, instrumental, first wave post rock
We have a brand new studio album called Projekto de Bombas, made in collaboration with Pradera de Bombas, a band we're friends with and share one member. So this is a different album for us.
https://projektosendecida.bandcamp.com/album/projekto-de-bombas
Check out also our other albums:
https://projektosendecida.bandcamp.com/music
https://projektosendecida.bandcamp.com/album/el-vac-o-del-gaucho
https://projektosendecida.bandcamp.com/album/zapadas-vol-2
El Vacio Del Gaucho (2015) was composed over several months and, while recorded 'live' (simultaneously) it has overdubs and some studio trickery.
Our jam albums Zapadas vol 1 and 2 are selections of completely raw recordings and 100% improvised music made just for fun but are pretty nice albums in themselves. Then there's the debut self titled album from 2012.

>>65236722
great stuff, this could be in the big leagues. My only constructive criticism would be that it's too much of guitar arpeggios. It gets old through the album. In future releases you should add more instrumentation. But maybe that's the concept, to keep it simple. Anyway, congrats on a really good album.
>>65236947

All my drive and inspiration is pretty dead lately. I've got 4 tracks in the works but they're not working and I can't add to them, it's annoying me. Anyone got some tips on getting out a slump?
>>65238054
Listen to a bunch of music and keep a distance from writing. Never force yourself to write. Only write and record when it feels natural
>>65238115
>Never force yourself to write. Only write and record when it feels natural
that's terrible advice for an artist.
do force yourself to do it.
make a habit.
1hr a day, 2 hrs a day, 3hrs a day, get your 10,000 hours while you are young.
it's never a great time to make your music because the world isn't really designed for you to be a musician, you have to make it happen. you force yourself to do it you will eventually start to discover things that are actually worth doing.
>>65236933
Oh man dude. I finally recorded those vocals and they were all ready to go when I realized I said "take your place" instead of "take you a place" so I'm doing them over right at this moment
>>65236947
>>65237237
I think I'm the one who isn't worthy
>>65237005
Well probably not electro pop but I can tell you I'm probably not recording another folk album any time soon
However... would you mind if I were to do a cover of one of your songs (maybe Cherubim or My, My, My) at uploaded it to Soundcloud? I'd put your name in the title and your BC link in the description
>>65236960
Thanks, glad you're liking it! I am looking forward to those tracks
>>65237167
I feel your gripe, and I appreciate the feedback a bunch. I promise you I'm not making it up when I say that keeping it simple actually is literally the stylistic concept for the album haha. Glad you're likin' it for the most part man. Rec back to you way back from Zapadas Pt. 1
>>65238516
>would you mind if I were to do a cover of one of your songs
ONLY if i can cover one of yours
(p.s. i'd understand if some were off limits if they were too personal to you but it would be an honor if i could)
>>65238363
I didn't say stop playing music altogether, just don't work on a release if you're not inspired.
Sure I'll continue to play music all the time and mess around, but when it comes to seriously sitting down and composing a track, I only do it when it feels natural and not forced. Nothing worse that music was written because you forced yourself to write it with no inspiration.
>>65238115
Thanks man, I'm trying to do that but I only record something maybe once a week.
>>65238363
That method created one of the worst albums I've ever made, I'm so ashamed of it I didn't even release any of the material from it.
>>65238755
I recorded a bit now since I had a slight surge but I can not make a bassline for it or melody. It's solos and chords, it's so strange.
>>65238586
Yeah absolutely man
Did you have any specific track in mind? (Because now that you mention it maybe there would be some songs I'd feel too personal about, as much as I feel dumb saying that)

I've got about 30 mins of tape for that song. I'll go through it later and hopefully find something I can build from.
It's just annoying since I bought a great new synth with great sounds but now my imagination has given up.
