literally who
had a close friend who overdosed on heroin last year after moving back home to get clean. finally watched his memorial video they played at the memorial service. "Custom Concern" was the second song featured. the feels were real.
Moon > Long Drive > LCW
Although all three are some of the best rock albums ever recorded either way.

yea dude I saw them on their GNFPWLBN tour in 2004 and haven't looked back. I have all their recordings on vinyl.
also - why does everyone hate long distance drunk? I think it's a beauty

for me it's moon > lcw > long drive but only by very slim margins. my favorites & least favorites are on moon but I like its musical diversity. i think lcw is the most emotional and expressive. only one or two of my personal faves are on long drive so thats why I put it last
I can't believe how good this is. It might actually be the best thing they've released to date.
LCW>Long Drive=Moon

don't forget to listen to this.
workin' on leaving the living is so good
The pixies, first 3 albums
Modest Mouse is my favorite band of all time! I'm glad you like them. Check out Built to Spill
I listened to Lonesome Crowded West so much when I first heard it and it's still my favourite album to this day
COWBOY DAN'S A MAJOR PLAYER IN THE COWBOY SCENE
I don't feel and I feel great
modest mouse were heavily influenced by built to spill so try that
you might also like some 90s emo stuff like cap'n jazz, american football, lync etc.- although they're not exactly the same, the appeal is similar i think.
