They're really not that different. The definitive version is the Zomba Promo version, which has a full extra song and a couple of extra samples here and there.
If you listened to the 'neutered' version you'd still be getting 99% of the experience.

It wasn't shit. I don't like every Daft Punk album. Alive 1997 is shit and HAA was very mediocre (though it did heavily change the way French Touch music was heading).
It was a good album though, no Discovery or Alive 2007 though.
