Just a theory, the EP is titled Past Present Future and has 3 songs on it. I feel as though Drag Queen was the "future" song and Oblivius was the present song because to me it had a somewhat comedown machine vibe. Which means the final song, Threat of Joy, will be a throw back to their past works (Room on Fire vibe).

First Impressions is great man.I only dislike one sogn off it.Angles is the only album I don't particularly like. I mean songs like Taken for a fool,Life is simple and Machu Picchu are great but the album isnt consistent at all.
CM is consistent. Tap Out, Slow Animals,One Way Trigger,welcome to japan etc. All greay songs. All the time is the blandest song though, otherwise album is consistently good.chances and call it fate though.

Neat little concept EP, really like their versatility of sound. I feel like this EP is a carefree and fun response to the criticism they always receive. One side always yelling "The Strokes? Literally boring 2000s indie trash, all their stuff sounds the same" and on the other side people who bash any new stuff they try saying they should go back to their old sound. I'd say this EP has something for all those groups. I like it.
