What is the best music from all of Latin America?
Any hispanic in here that can help me? It doesn't matter if it's old or recent music.
Bossa Nova Dub and Garifuna
Rock Chileno y Argentino
Try Artaud by Pescado Rabioso and Alturas de Macchu Picchu by Los Jaivas. First is psychodelic/folk rock and the second one is progressive/latin rock.

Is the absolute best album to ever come out of Latinamerica, simply because it doesn't follow the trends of our bleached-skinned overlords up there.
This thing is the anthology of Latin, more precisely, Venezuelan music paired with a masterly execution and creative production. No latino knows about this album because we're still stuck trying to emulate other cultures while completely neglecting our own.

Nigga wat? That's just b8 m8,
Mexico doesnt necessary have popular mainstream music but a decent amount of mexican artist are pretty dam good. Especially in the folk area. Hell even older rap artist were funky fresh, we are rulling out narco corridos, duranguense and clown music because thats just retarder but evry other genera had some pretty decent artists. I suppose if you are used to listening to coconut music you wouldn't know what good music or good artist are.... fuck cafe tacuba still makes me feel like a 14yo schoolgirl when i hear them play because they are very good at drawing out the feels man.
MIS has some pretty dam good tracks that are even better live.
I will rule this as b8 7/10
