Heard a little from Nick Cave and looking to get into it more. What's some of the best of his/theirs?

Let Love In or Tender Prey are good starting points. Go back in time if you want darker, noisier stuff, and forward in time if you want more ballads.
You could also just start from their first album and then go chronologically. Their 80s stuff is their best imo.

I think you should just start off with his debut, to show how creative he is. Once you listen to that you can listen any of his other albums cause his debut is most inaccessible and alienating.

Honestly, he is one of the most consistent artists ever, after like 40 years he has had only one less than good album. I don't think you could go wrong with any of his albums. But I suggest starting from the beginning and working chronologically.
Thanks for the input. I just finished his debut and it's fuckin great. I had been listening to loads of Tom Waits so I wanted to give him a rest.

His sound changed a lot in the 90s, but I prefer the earlier darker music. The birthday party has some great albums as well.
