if I had to make a choice I would probably go with Mauro Gargano (whose name I mispelled in my previous post) for jazz, Vibravoid for psych and First touch for funk. but the year is not over yet and albums by great bands are yet to be released, especially in funk music

i think cover art like that is really good, the fact that actual time and effort was put into drawing the cover. I can see why someone would consider it cheesy but I would prefer this over a filtered photo with the album title and band name covering half of the cover

hm okay then. I love the Another Timbre label and the jazz pics are quite standard I think, there are 2 ECM albums here, so they are quite popular...
I dont really see what's "poseur" about them but I'd love to hear some suggestions. what are your picks?
