What does /mu/ think of it? I've listened to this album for 6-9 times now, but I still feel that it doesn't 'click'. I like the music, but it doesn't overwhelm me with awesomeness like Close to the Edge or Tago Mago does.

well it's /mu/core so obviously /mu/ digs it somewhat

It's ok

It's not a problem if it doesn't overwhelm you.

boring with great cover art
i feel ashamed for saying i love it because it's such a meme
Not even King Crimson's best. Pretty much everything after to Red is better if you asked me.

I like 21st Century Man and The Court of the Crimson King quite a bit. Don't like the other songs though
Not even their best
Pretty good album, but not their best.
LGTSS

i agree that it's not their best. It just gets so much love because it was pretty groundbreaking
I do think 21st century is probably one of their best songs though
I honestly get annoyed by the mellotron/strings on this album and it is not as crisp and good sounding as their later stuff
I think Lark is best, then Red. It's honestly a tossup after that. I put Thrak and Construktion higher than usual
KC actually kept evolving and... progressing (get it?). I could give a shit about whatever the Rolling Stones put out in the 90's
