The lyrics on midcity weren't that great, but he improved on their next album. What I like about midcity is it blended pop rap with elements of experimental music in a tasteful way

clipping is pretty much the definition of pleb. Thing about it. David went from spoken word to community theater to a deathgrips rip off band to rap on broadway. I don't think any musician has had as gimmicky of a career in a long time.
