Stoner rock doesn't seem very popular on /mu/, although it does seem to be growing in general, perhaps thanks to the increasing global amount of dudeweedlmao so I guess it is receiving more attention now.

90s onwards power pop is p underrated, to most people it's weezer's blue album and that's it
lots of gr8 albums like posies' frosting on the beater, third eye blind s/t, both jellyfish albums, teenage fanclub in general, new pornographers, exploding hearts, super furry animals...
