Any slow tempo but aggressive songs. I would say "Metal" but the example I'm gonna give would be more like prog nu metal if anything and I know better than to call nu metal, "metal".

Something like this

slow, genuine, simple, hard songs. I know everyone loves to shit on Mudvayne but they definitely put some effort into at least a couple songs. It's such a niche request I understand if nothing comes up but this is a good platform to find new music and I need more like this song.

Supertouch might be worth looking further into. Didn't really find anything good while searching "post hardcore", might take more digging than is worth it.

That sure as hell is hard hitting.

That's too edgy you need to listen to better heavy music, like powerviolence

Need something like a harder version of Tool.

Here's another good example of a sort of slow hard hitting sound. But of course according to most people in the world, I listen to bad music.

All of that radio friendly nu metal is a just rehash of grunge with worse lyrics
Just listen to early 90s emo it's better

It's a smoother grunge, a sound that didn't get played with often enough. Also, lyrically this song isn't bad. It's simple and is mostly just used to keep the song flowing, felt more like an extra instrument than a singing front man.
