Copyright takedowns were a big problem for me back in 8th grade, but I hardly ever use Youtube now.

Is Spotify too expensive? It's not perfect, but it's srsly great place for exploring new music

Its a bit shit though, Ive found a lot more music i like from youtube than spotify,
if spotify could only fix their fucking local file support and folder system for autists like meself
if the music is getting removed from youtube it's too mainstream anyway
i don't have a problem with mainstream media however in general it tends to be boring and inoffensive as to reach and appeal to as many people as possible. instead of looking for radiohead why don't you find some good prog rock to listen to instead of some gay brit whining about life and using wacky instruments that have no place other than to make up for the fact the songwriters couldn't write a good song even if they were paid a million bucks

Same here. It's not really surprising that google has better recommendation algos.

also, if you're a hobo you can use spotify web player and adblock, works like a charm
>>64830231
Spotify kinda sucks for finding new metal to listen to.
Also you tend to get stuff that is wildly different from what you were originally looking for.

WHY HAVEN'T i THOUGHT OF THIS
