Never liked zeppelin or rush or that dadrock prog shit but I fell in love with the half of volta that paid dues to post hardcore, early pop and emo. The fact that those cats could wrap that sound up in things that none of their contemporaries had the chops to do was icing on the cake.

Saw them twice and they were great live. I still like them, not crazy like I was but they did some interesting things on every album even if it went downhill after the first couple.
