As in music meant to scare or unsettle the listener, not as in horror movie soundtracks. Sorry if this is a pleb tier question, just genuinely curious.

Khanate and silencer are two i can think of. i don't think they're very good but they are certainly unsettling
check out akira yamaoka's soundtracks for the silent hill games
i mean this completely unironically, pretty good industrial spooky ambient shit with a few nice indie and trip hop songs thrown in

Yamaoka is a god. He's the only video game composer I've found who has great solo albums.
As for OP, I'd recommend Coil. How To Destroy Angels is a great spooky album.
