For a long time I thought no Pink Floyd album could be as good as Dark Side, Wish You Were Here, or Animals, but I just listened to this and I was blown away. Anyone have a similar experience, maybe with different artists?
Well their first 2 albums are as good if not better than WYWH, Animals and DSOTM, so check them out aswell.
F#A#∞ for me

>check your head > pauls boutique
FUCK NO, pauls boutique is the second best hip hop album of all time (sampling is thee best)

agreed. during '67-'72, AHM is the best one.

and you are entitled to that opinion.
I just feel like Check Your Head is less focused on one sound and does a bunch of different ones very very well. I can see how some people may not like that, though.

check your head is a great album dont get me wrong. the sounds are maneuvered perfectly. who knew three jewish guys could master hip-hop for what it is.

yea dude- the year 1989- only public enemy's record is better objectively; subjectively its up to ones own preference. remember were talking hip-hop (samples/beats).

>objectively
In what way are those two the best hip-hop records, objectively or subjectively?
I can think of a couple on the top of my head that are alot better; Aquemini, Atliens, XXX, Mystic Stylez, College Dropout, Pinata
