the problem is white guy indie just doesn't exist anymore. Nobody is doing anything even close to interesting these days, so they had to try to fit in with poptimism and nig shit. It just doesn't fit "Pitchfork" the hypebeast for art school hipsters anymore. They're hanging on by a thread.

But in those days (07-10) it was like an oasis for indie music.
