I've got something a little different in the works for my next project. I've actually been dedicating time to each individual song and not working on the next one till the one before is right. It's a slow process but it should mean my music will be more refined than before.

Sounds okay, you could have some more confidence in your vocals. Something really needs to stand out amongst the waves of guitars and reverb and take control of what the listener is focused on.
>>64788576
I thought this was pretty good. It sounds like something that could have been on an early New Found Glory EP or something. It has heart and potential, but needs some polishing and a little more effort, honestly. It doesn't stand out from the millions of other bands that sound like this.
>>64788503
pretty sure I've commented on this before, but I listened to a few different songs this time. Still sounds like Astrobrite hah. Not a bad thing, though. I really love Astrobrite, but underneath all the grimy noise and texture, the pop sensibility really has to keep shining through. Hope Seance delivers.

i really appreciate the honesty. We never got a new found glory comparison before, so thats cool i suppose. We're trying to expand on our sound more, but that song that you heard is one of the safer songs we have. we wanted to have an easily digestible single, ya know? Maybe you'll like the album more when it comes out! we've also got another album, you feel bad about you, up on bandcamp. that one sounds a bit different

oh and im listening to your stuff now too, the featured track. Production is very crisp, but almost too crisp for me. Like everything sounds a bit too treble heavy and artificial. You seem to be holding back on the vocals a bit too, but it reminds me of lou barlow. The song itself is okay, it just doesnt go anywhere. To me its a bit boring, definitely good but kind of repetitive. But im sure others really like it that way. I dont know, to me it never reaches that climax point that i feel it should hit with that new wavey post punk sound. have you ever heard Sad Lovers And Giants??

My very first release, I know it's not exactly polished, but I put a lot of emotion into it and hope you enjoy
Leaving criticism rn:
>>64788179
I took a listen to your latest release and I enjoy the vibe you're going for, I don't listen to this regularly but I can tell a lot of effort was put in, and the sounds that come through are extremely ethereal
>>64788217
I dig the vocals on this a lot, and I feel like the semi lo-fi quality of everything adds to the feel. The chord progressions are pretty dynamic and the electric guitars are used subtley and as a result, its impact is a lot deeper
and
>I came home for summer but didn't stay for the fall
>She found her a lover, didn't care for at all
;((
>>64788253
The delays in the guitar are pretty cool, vocals are in the back and I think if you put the volume on it one notch up and made it a little more intelligible, it'd sound kinda cool and from there you could mess with vocal layers and harmonization
If anything the drums kinda sound sampled and if they're not my bad
>>64788535
I really like that little breaker you do in the two minute mark and the 2:40 mark, adds a lot of dynamic into the song
Something about the drums feels missing, like the snare isn't hitting hard enough, I'm guessing this is based on mic placement
The guitar sounds a little too clean for my tastes and maybe if it had a little more dirt on it I think it could bring out the notes more

Vibes, vibes, love the sound, keep doing what you're doing and see what you can do to further it

desu, >>64788179 was I threw together in a weekend with some old lyrics that I'd written and nearly threw out. I'm glad it read well even though I really tried to shoot from the hip on it.
that said, your project is dope. I think you can take your flow up another level (actually I might just settle for adding some room/gate reverb on your vocals to match the boom bap flavor,) but your sense of setting a vibe with your release is great. you clearly curated and put together a really good selection of production. I've listened to a lot of bandcamps, rarely do I let them play out, and I did with yours :)
