really dig Blakey, and Harry Potter's string quartets.
How's Mahler's 10th? I really loved certain moments on the symphonies of his I've heard (1, 5, 6, 7, 8) but he always ends up losing steam multiple times throughout. maybe it's a lack of coherence or perhaps a lack of understanding on my part though.
>>64787527
Hello
How r u
>>64787527
your favorite film genre is drama
>>64787645

>>64787748

familiarity only makes it much better. Though one of the amazing characteristics of Ashley's voice is that he manages to sound familiar from the get go

>>64787975
what the hell is that Toyomu album supposed to be anyway
>>64788033
interesting font
>>64788080
guy can't download album or stream it in japan, so he uses whosampled and rapgenius (or similar websities) to create what he think it might sound like. it ends up being way too experimental of a project instead of being the fun it should be.
((his other, instrumental hip-hop albums are pretty good though))
>>64787957
yeah if you like Otomo as an turntable guy it's 100% essential
>>64788080
I think the toyomu album is the attemtp of a japanese guy to recreate the new kanye with only written info on lyrics and samples used. I find the idea really fascinating but I haven't listened to it yet. I vowed not to listen to the actual kanye album until I've heard that though.
>>64788129
>>64788150
that actually sounds really interesting
will definitely have to give that a listen sometime
>>64788150
>yeah if you like Otomo as an turntable guy it's 100% essential

>mahler's 10th?
well, I'm making my way through classical music, so I'm not sure I can make useful statements about the music I've heard thus far. This was my first introduction to Mahler's works, and I can only say I digged the 10th pretty much, but not sure if I noticed some kind of mess and lack of coherence on it. Did you noticed in any movement specially? Also, do you got any fav pieces you'd like to tell me, when it comes to classical?
>blakey
This dude was a based motherfucker. How did he he manage to create - pretty much - the most joyful and fun hard bop ever? Not once, but many fucking times (he got a incredible catalog I must say). While getting the best out of Shorter, Hubbard, Walton and Fuller. Damn
>>64787673
Hey, man. I'm pretty good, except the fact I grew up tired of starting things in my life, and never ending it. And you?
>>64787748
>your favorite film genre is drama

I also like skrillex, don't be ashamed

I put the name of the conductor in the album artist tag for the whole album, and the composer in the artist tag for each individual track, like in pic related.
can't guarantee it'll scrobble properly though, last.fm pretty much ruined album artist scrobbling for everyone.

>Have you, would you share it?
everything I do is childish and stupid. I want to know if anyone else has experienced anything deep and philosophical. The only thing that I experience that is close to being deep and philosophical is laying on the bed with my eyes closed listening to have a nice life, or watching neon genesis evangelion.
I do think about philosophical problems in the world a lot, I feel that I'm constantly growing in my perspectives and understandings, which is something invaluable. If anything, growing as an individual isn't some "deep philosophical experience". If anything, growing as a person just makes life less painful, and easier to take because of intellectual and emotional maturity.
For something truly deep and philosophical, I would probably have to read something really deep, except I suck at reading, because I am very slow and I tend to get discouraged if I can't grasp the meaning or writing style of any given author. So, I don't know.
It would be nice if I could kill my ego, because it seems that it is the one that keeps me unhappy. The basic, childish need for rewards, the constant self awareness of myself and the fact that I am conscious. Without it, there would be no way to experience the world, with it, I'm inextricably burdened by my own ability to notice the fact that I am awake.
