Used to well up during the last song on "a grand don't come for free". After it goes through the first time, and he attacks the guy trying to fix the TV, and he fucks all up. Then the rewind thing happens, and there is that string section that comes in, and it shows what would happen differently, and he ends up at the party and that after finding the money. It was always a very evocative record for me.

if musi makes you cry or even feel any emotions at all then you are a pleb and you don't know how to appreciate music correctly. It is meant to be interpreted intellectually. If you're experience is colored by base emotions then your objective appraisal of the work is tainted and you don't even truly understand what you just listened to. sage.

what sounds like corny shit?
In The Wee Small Morning by Sinatra.
Listened to that song while driving in the middle of the night, it was snowing softly outside. It always makes me feel like I'm not good enough and even though I have high aspirations for serious musicianship, I'll never be good enough.

4:10 in the solo from Time - Pink Floyd. It's not really sad, but it's so beautiful.

Nice grammar, dumb dumb
For what it's worth, I teared up the first time I listened through AMSP, though it was partially because I was just so pleasantly surprised that my favorite band is still capable of making great albums.

I've never cried to OTC, but I'll admit that I get all feely when I hear nyc-25. So wistful and nostalgic.
albums I can remember crying to:
Best Coast - Crazy For You
Nothing - Guilty of Everything
Baths - Obsidian
I don't consider any of those albums above like a 6/10 so I guess it had more do with the context than the music.
this amongs others
Crying is not a shame
Animal Collective - Campfire Songs and Spirit
Vashti Bunyan - Just Another Diamond Day and Heartleap
Those four albums have cause me to cry
