When Dreams and Day Unite is a great album cover. Falling into Infinity, Train of Thought and Systemic Chaos are all good, well thought out and recognizable. Metropolis pt 2 and Octavarium are both ok, not great but serviceable. The rest are horrendous photoshop collages I have no idea why anyone would approve.

the problem isn't the lack of album art, but rather the fact that no one can take kanye west seriously as an independent artist who rejects the corporate, profit driven nature of the music industry - something like NLDW is a viable cover despite how confronting it is because - BECAUSE - of how confronting it is and yet a good representation of the artists and their music
Yeezus is a good representation all the same - it represents how creatively bankrupt Kanye is and yet, in spite of this, how good of an artist he is in the modern age. Even if Kanye is 100% sincere in his music and his actions - this is someone an aesthetic in itself - Kanye IS the ironic meme rapper that characterises the plastic, phoney music industry that we see every day - And yet he can do something like this and consider himself against the grain
