One of the best living songwriters. Up there with the likes of Joni Mitchell. Seriously underrated, despite being extremely highly rated.
Lyrics are almost always 10/10, some other elements of her music varies in quality. Some people don't like her voice.

Real talk? The first song I ever heard by her turned me off - her voice is so high pitched and granny-like, only her delivery suggested this wasn't a woman in her 70s singing.
But I'm slowly warming up to her. Have just been listening to a piece from Divers and liked it.

MEM can be quite abrasive. Her voice is probably smoothest on HOOM.
But I think shes just not for some people - I just feel sorry for them that they are missing out on someone so great.
