I bought a Fulltone OCD overdrive pedal the other day brand new and it isn't working? I have a Vox AC15 and the fucker won't even turn on? It sure as hell isn't the way I connected it.

Overdrive isn't the right effect for you, it will only make it more obvious how much you suck. Get something wonky like a phaser or a flanger so the bullshit you try to play sounds a little bit interesting
